Dear fellow astronomy buffs.
Always in motion are the stars and planets. So too is our membership and the ways that we may gather to share our enthusiasm and enjoyment for astronomy.
Our FEBRUARY MEETING will be in Room N1104 in the Science Building at Wilfred Laurier University. It starts at 7 PM, Friday, February 14. Our Comet Lady will bring us up to date. “What’s Up” and The Messier Minute” will be presented by Michael. Trevor will bring his expertise and talk about “The Geological History of Mars.” Free parking is available in front of the Bricker Academic Building.
Everyone is invited. We will give your curiosity a work out.
Star Parties and Public Outreach
Watching the weather forecast for a clear sky. We normally confirm the event up to three days before.
McLennan Park, Kitchener. Park in the north parking lot off of Ottawa St. Walk up the hill and see the universe. Bring your telescope and we’ll get you better.

Michael Wright (right) is presented with our Centre's Ray Koenig Award in recognition of outstanding service and advancement of amateur astronomy benefiting the members of the Kitchener-Waterloo Centre of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada. The Ray Koenig Award is our club's annual service award and here is presented by our Past President Trevor Chandler.
