The Newsletter
The Pulsar is the newsletter of the Kitchener-Waterloo Centre of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada. Written primarily by and for members of the Centre, it serves to inform the membership and the RASC in general about activities of the Centre, and to disseminate information concerning amateur astronomy of specific interest to Centre members. Published online every quarter, each issue contains a mix of Centre-related and local astronomy news, how-to articles and tutorials, equipment reviews, astronomical humour and even, occasionally, articles of a more scientific or philosophical nature.
We welcome any and all submissions by RASC members. If you are considering a contribution, please review the submission guidelines for some helpful hints and advice and submit your article to the Pulsar Editor.
The Journal is a bi-monthly publication of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada. It is available online to RASC members. The current issue can be found here: RASC Journal Online. Use the current username and password emailed to you as a RASC member.
